Merriam-Webster says:

entry word: punk

function: noun

text: a violent, brutal person who is often a member of an organized gang

But that’s the dictionary. In music, the word was first used to describe that genre made by people with an innate love for music but didn’t have a lot of know-how. Sort of belonging to the lower ranks among musicians, just as a "punk" is in society. Back in the early days, they stayed in the outskirts of the music-loving community to watch, but they thought, "what the f***,we want to make music, so let’s do it." And they did.

But how did these black tee’d kids grow to be so innumerable and hidden in Cebu? (Yes, love, they’ve multiplied.)

It’s astonishing that our local punk community has become one strong and large underground music nation that has an unbelievable web of connections. Inconceivable, but it’s happening. They’ve existed for about two decades in our town in the midst of an unaware mainstream society. And they’re not all that different too. For instance, there maybe much of a difference between a green punk (environmentalist punk) and your normal environmentalist advocate except 99% attitude, and 1 % everything else", or so I’ve been told. Plus, yeah, the music.

weeee..school’s back again.and im feeling alone.in the four corners of the room.i cant be like this forever.throughout my college life.i cant.i need to go out and "have fun".haha,!we had our freshies orientation this day and it made my senses numb.!what a life.we just sat there and stare at you,.JOKE.!hihi.yeah but really.we sat whole morning in a hot cage,!!haha.take note HOT,!dili air conditioned.!hihi.coz the conference room’s in a renovation process at this moment so we had to use the AS bldg. which feels like HELL.!it sucked the fluids out of my very frail body..hahah!yeah..thats it.HELL.HEAVENS where are you,.??!and this patheticness thing..some people are like that.,really.they love pathetic things..stuffs like that.DANCEROUS,word of the day.haha,!NKE..SECRET  na lang ni.hihi.yeah,.college life really is different from high school.VERY MUCH DIFFERENT!!and afternoon session is for division orientation.we had a tour around the campus.my colleagues are cool.sosyal.hip."in".but im not trying to be like them.i love them but not because of those stuffs.im just my own being.trying to express myself in my own little ways not expecting somebody to notice me.but luckily..someone did.!or shall i say,,they did,.heheh.anyweiz.,im not those "wannabes" in the school.im just an individual.im just me.im simple yet relaxed of what life has to offer,i am who i am.:)

The Regional Children’s Congress was held last April 26-28 at Pongos Hotel,Ormoc City.YEah.we had lots of great activities there[which made me lost my voice ryt now.hehe.ü].t’was really fun and exciting.much better if i was one of the FACIs[facilitatiors] coz i love to handle children and "not so child anymore".hehe.i met lots of friends[and foes.nyehehe.:P] from other ADPs [from northwest,biliran,ormoc,dulag,merida,ug uban pa.].i will miss them all.especially:

i realized and nagsisi din why i have not attended the other congresses.!hope this coming May i can attend the visayas congress.hope so.i will be one of the representatives.sana nga lang.sa Cebu.but i have to deal with my college life first.huhu.kapoy nah Ui.langya.!fungkel nman….sus…[waray iton.one of the learnings dun.haha!].sa travel.there’s no problem going there.but pagbalik..sus!nag-bus lang po kami.!kakapagod!wew.![thank god the mp3 of lyca saved me!haha.thanx cute devil.hihi.]kasi naman.may mates chose na mag-bus para daw sabay na kami lahat kasi pag van daw the group will be divided into two>!ano bah,.ka-fungkel ng mga iton>!it’s no use.we still didnt take advantage sa bus becoz there are many other passengers in it.so di kami nakapg-ingay.[salamat sa mga gwapo ng Fundamental Baptist Church sa Hilongos.nagising ako from my deep slumber.haha!]apir..^_^. cge.till here.[ long live omega!naghari din tayo!!haha.coNGratz to nikki,jerome and jean.mga batang omega!go,go,go!!!!!]

As i woke up this monday morning [hearing the sound of the,yes,you guessed it,election campaign jingles.grrrrr], i felt something that has always been a part of me that was missing. i paused for a while then realized that gone were the fun,happy and enjoyable days of high school.i miss……..

• my mentors[thank you so much though i hate you!.haha]
